1. Fake Scrub
Packed with nutrients, avocado pits make a really nourishing face scrub that’s simplicity itself to make.
To create your own, remove the pit from an avocado and wash off any flesh. Place in a sealed plastic bag and use a rolling pin or hammer to break the pit into small, “scrubbable” pieces.
Pour out onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and place in the oven on a low heat until dried, keep a close eye to ensure the scrub doesn’t burn. Store in an airtight container and use with warm water or cleanser as a healthy, wholesome face scrub. The beauty of this trick? You can still eat the rest of the avo!
2. Make Up Remover & Eye Serum
To gently remove make up, little beats avocado oil. To capture this fruit’s oil, simply swipe a cotton ball over the surface of a freshly halved avo and use the collected reside to remove your make up. Once your face is clean and clear, use the remaining oil and massage it around your eye area with your fingers to get the most out of the healthy fats, vitamin A and vitamin D it contains.
3. Hair Mask
Wish your locks had a little more va va voom? Avocado is wonderfully rich in biotin, a key ingredient for boosting hair health and strength. Mash and mix an avocado with a good dose of olive oil to create a sumptuous hair conditioning treatment which will help your looks get stronger and look glossier.
