How Do Fast Braces Straighten Teeth?

Fastbraces® is a revolutionary system which has been designed allowing a fast, safe and affordable solution to conventional orthodontics and alternate orthodontic systems.

The technology allows for the movement of the roots of the teeth towards their final positions from the beginning of treatment by torqueing them from the very first appointment unlike conventional fixed braces which involves treatment over a 2 year period often. The system is available as a stylish Clear or Metal type treatment and uses a high level of technology to create beautiful smiles.

How Long Does Treatment Time Take?

Fastbraces® treatment is customised for each patient by Dr Monica Amin, a Fastbraces® approved dentist, in conjunction with the Fastbraces® team in the USA. Treatment typically for most patients is in the range of 3 months to a year. Some patients see results in just weeks!

Do I need Fast Braces?

Any patient who is unhappy with the appearance of their teeth or has not got a comfortable bite is generally suitable for orthodontic treatment. The system used or recommended will depend on the complexity of the case.

Dr Monica Amin will discuss your options and advised accordingly which system will best suit your requirements. Studies are now showing by patients undergoing orthodontic treatment to achieve well aligned teeth not only have a beautiful smile but also have healthier mouths by eliminating the prevalence of certain bacteria which causes harm to the gum tissue surrounding the originally crooked teeth.

What’s The Cost of Fast Braces?

Fastbraces treatment starts from £1500.00 for single arch treatment. The patient would be given a customised treatment plan detailing the exact cost depending on type of Fastbraces option chosen. We offer two types of Fastbraces treatment with metal based silver braces or alternatively, aesthetic tooth coloured braces.

Fast Braces vs Invisalign

Invisalign is a more aesthetic orthodontic system as it is made from clear aligners but is removeable and so relies on patient compliance in order for treatment to work. Fastbraces is an ideal fixed orthodontic system for a patient who may feel they may not be disciplined to allow the desired outcome to occur perhaps with a system such as Invisalign.

How fast do Fast Braces take to close gaps?

FASTBRACES® is Fast, with treatments ranging from weeks to months. Treatment could potentially be completed in as little as 20 weeks.

The Process

Upon completion of the initial consultation with Dr Monica Amin a Customized Plan is created for each patient before the Fastbraces are fitted.

Dr Amin will take radiographs and pictures of the patient’s teeth. This will help her alongside the Fastbraces team to create the customised plan. While there are no miracle shortcuts in orthodontics, FASTBRACES® Technology is different by design, which allows for the treatment to be measured in weeks to months, not years.

Traditional braces are usually square in shape and typically move the crown of the tooth in the first year, and the root of the tooth towards its final position in the second year, thus requiring about two years of treatment. FASTBRACES® Technology allows for movement of the roots of the teeth towards their final position from the onset of treatment, thus completing treatment in weeks or in months instead of years!

Once the desired end result is achieved the braces are removed and treatment is completed! After treatment is complete, Dr Amin may recommend that the patient wears a retainer every night during a normal 8-hours sleep period (“Teeth Pajamas”) or just in the shower for 15-20 minutes every day (“Tooth Shampoo”).

How Do I Clean My Fastbraces?

Cleaning your Fastbraces should be no different to cleaning your own teeth by brushing and flossing or using interdental brushes for inbetween tooth cleaning.

We recommend you brush at least twice a day and if you use an electric toothbrush, then you can use an orthodontic brush head for your electric brush to allow you to clean more thoroughly around the brackets.
